About the National Law Institute University, Bhopal
The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) was established by the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, Act No. 41 of 1997, and substituted by Act No. 6 of 2018, enacted by the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature. NLIU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India. The vision of NLIU is to become one of the world's best centers of legal education, training, and research. The mission of NLIU is to develop and nurture the intellect for the betterment of the nation and humanity through law and justice. The main objective of NLIU is to impart and disseminate comprehensive legal education in order to achieve excellence by way of organizing progressive study programs and promoting research with a focus on improving the ability of students and research scholars to analyze contemporary issues of public concerns and their legal implications so that law learners acquire skills to advance legal education in a professional and a responsible manner.
About the Gyanotsav - National Conference
As India strides toward the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, libraries stand as timeless pillars of knowledge, innovation, and societal progress. Gyanotsav: Re-imagining Libraries as Engine of Viksit Bharat, hosted by Gyan Mandir at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, is a transformative two-day national conference scheduled for 29–30 August 2025. This landmark event aims to re- envision libraries as dynamic hubs that empower communities, foster education, and drive national development. Gyanotsav invites librarians, academicians , policymakers, technology experts, Research Scholars and students to engage in thought-provoking discussions, share innovative practices, and forge collaborative networks. Through visionary keynotes, interactive panels, hands-on workshops, and research presentations, the conference will inspire and equip participants to shape the future of Indias knowledge ecosystem in alignment with the goals of a developed India.
